The Longmeadow Parkway marched closer to its 2022 opening date with preliminary approval of a $7.8 million contract that will lock in the discount program for Kane County and Algonquin residents who wish to use the tollroad with advance payment. It will also lock in a lesser discount for people who don’t live in those areas but want to sign up for regular use.
